shedd aquarium

The mission of the Shedd Aquarium is to show and teach the wonders of the world out there in the ocean, ecosystems and their environment. Shedd Aquarium says its mission is to to promote the enjoyment, appreciation and conservation of aquatic life and environments. Through its global collection of animals and its educational programs, Shedd Aquarium's goal is to enhance public understanding of aquatic ecosystems and foster a conservation ethic. Well, I particularly think the aquarium fulfills its mission because thats exactly what you see and how you feel while being inside. In my opinion, the Shedd Aquariums keeps everything very clean and that gives you a feeling as if you were inside the ocean, clean, fresh and beautiful. I didnt find anything that fell short in the aquarium, I felt really comfortable and I enjoyed every moment I was inside. The exhibits were wonderful and very educational. After being there I just want to be a fish and live in that beautiful world. Sometimes I felt that I was in a museum because I couldnt touch the fishes so that gave me a see but do not touch museum rule, but most of the time I felt like I was in a zoo because of all the different types of animals for you to see and appreciate them also learning were the species came from and how they live. I think both, museums and zoos are very similar in their purposes. Like museums, a zoo has its own way of having all different kinds of things to show and to teach. The only difference is that zoos show all living organisms and the museum does not, most of the museums show things from the past, history. They are both organized with global collections for appreciation and education. I have to say that I really appreciated being there and I will be there again sometime. Its a wonderful place with very interesting and incredible creatures. ...
