None Provided13 I am writing this letter to respectfully request consideration be given to my application through the alternate admission program at Western Illinois University. The chance to attend Western Illinois would allow me to prove my capabilities and potential that I possess. I am very aware of my past academic records. I did not prioritize scholastics as I should have and now I am faced with uncertain plans for my future. Many of my failures occurred prior to being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. My entire outlook on education has changes in the past two years. I was not able to focus on what needs to be done and to prioritize tasks. To support this, I have attached letters of recommendation from several teachers. These teachers support my statements. They have seen the change in my attitude toward my academics and the resulting improvements in my grades. During my senior year I have continued to challenge myself academically. I am currently taking six major classes. I have added business class to my curriculum and find that I enjoy this area of study. I plan to major in Business and Marketing in college. I am requesting consideration to my application for acceptance at Western Illinois University.
