These people might say things like “Our country would not be targeted by terrorists if we would have remained isolated.” Isolationists must also realize that if we had not become an imperialist country that most people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in Israel, would probably not be alive today. People should realize that other people should not be killed for what they believe in. Many isolationists do not realize just how many people they know that are Jewish. To show this, Adam Sandler, who is Jewish, wrote a song to show how many celebrities are Jewish. If the United States wouldn’t have stepped in and defended Israel, and all of these innocent Jewish people would have been slaughtered mercilessly, just think of how different our country would be. The United States is doing the right thing, remaining an imperialist country. However, Osama Bin Laden dislikes the U.S. support of Israel, and while we lost some 5,000 lives in the attack on the World Trade Center and most of their potential dissent, we have still come out ahead by sparing the lives of the residents of Israel. Now, the United States is taking care of the terrorist situation in the middle East in an effort for United States citizens to live in comfort while the United States remains an imperialist country. Many People will tell you that they are disappointed that the United States became an imperialist country because of the recent attacks, but deep down, they probably still support United States imperialism.
