Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet

a big future significance. Later when Lincoln was President a charter was passed to establish a national collage for the deaf students. This could have not been established without Thomas’s help. Thomas also dedicated his time to other educational purposes. He helped to establish regular free public schools, promoted education of African Americans and women, and he supported women rights. He also wrote book for deaf children and little children. His boos were published all over the world. Ha also manage to establish a church for deaf people. Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet died on September 10, 1851 in Hartford Connecticut, leaving behind enormous improvements for the education of the deaf....
