They did that by participating in political activities. Two Famous PeoplePancho Villa is one of the famous people. He was born on June 5th, 1877. He was born in Grande San Juan Rio. He is recognized as a hero or others view him as a criminal. He fought important battles. He was a compassionate man. He provided with food, water, education, homes and clothing to orphans. He was a revolutionary hero. He was then ambushed and killed on July 23rd, 1923 in Parral. Jos Clemente Orozo is another famous person. He was born on November 23rd, 1883. He was born in Zapollen Grande or today they call it Cindid. He drew many things. An example of what he drew was cartoons for magazines. His drawings were political. His first greatest portrait was Revolutionary War. The Last Spanish Forces Leaving the Castle of San Juan de Ulla was reference to the Independence War. In 1917 he went to the United States and painted the Soldadera which was attributed to women soldiers. In New York, 1934, he painted famous murals. He died on September 7th, 1949.
