With very limited food and weapon, they lasted 71 days with their spiritual strength. Peyote meetings and Ghost dance are good examples that show Indians are very spiritual people. Despite all the double standard they have faced all their lives, Indians survived and fought strong for their rights. Even though prejudice and judicial double standard against Indians existed, they fought hard to keep their tradition and live as Indians. The most amazing part is government of U.S., known to be the place for freedom and human rights, never kept any promises they made to Indians. In addition to that, they abused and exploited Indians in many ways, which will not be tolerated. I, as a minority myself, hope that Indians and many people fight as hard and brave as the first Crow Dog to eliminate prejudice and injustice. ...
