main factor in determining a person’s class. The more money a person has, the more power in society they have; and the more power they have, the more money they receive. In A Brave New World people are scientifically created in order to fit the requirements of their social class. Money comes with the class standing, but does not establish it. The classes are nearly identical in every way except how people become a part of them.Overall, the civilized society of the future is not much different than that of today’s society. The classes are the same, only the civilized society is formed by some greater force which decides who will be powerful and who will not. The almighty force of the dollar forms today’s society. Perhaps a controlling government is a better way to form society than allowing money to control our lives....
