If the corporation does not appear to allow one to express their pain anger or sadness, then that person needs to find alternative outlet for expressing these feelings. Learn to cope with change better, try to find the good and think positive.Realistically companies should have the foresight and understanding to actively solicit negative feelings from their remaining employees, realizing that ignoring the issues will only serve to make the situation worse. Corporations engaged in downsizing need to demonstrate compassion and be sympathetic to their employees that remain. In that they need to explain to the employees why this strategy was necessary, remove the ambiguity of their roles and reaffirm their future with the company....
