d for effectiveness.In developing our Public Relations plan we are going to focus on the Class 3 organization. We do this because we are a small and private organization and are strongly marketing dominate. This doesnt mean that there will be a lack of P.R., just that it is not going to be a huge focus in our IMC plan. Public Relations are also going to be a little more limited due to the fact that we are selling a relatively unchanging service rather than a product. Products tend to be updated and creating buzz for the new product is a good part the role of Public Relations. Public Relations is concerned with peoples attitudes about our service. We are worried about this because a negative attitude will reciprocate into a loss of business. We want people to view us as good citizens providing an exciting and fun way to push the limit and stroke their adrenalin threshold. In order to do this, we need to develop a good Public Relations plan.First, we must examine our audience. We have our employees, community around us, and our customers. Since we are privately funded and are a private organization, our list is significantly lower than what it might be if we were worried about creditors, stockholders etc. Next, our public relations program must be delivered to those people. We will use press releases, interviews on local television, newspaper articles, and community involvement. Our objective is to let people know that we arent a fly by night small company that is here just to make a dollar. We care about our employees, our community, and the safety of every person who comes to see us. Safety is key in our organization. To get things started in the right direction we will invite the media to our establishment while announcing our 10th year anniversary of our opening. This will be a big event and will every other year after this as well. We would like to make it so that people look forward to this day far in advance. We ...
