Microsoft vs The World

e more integrated into people’s lives; this makes it harder and harder for a new company to break the monopoly.I see only one glimmer of hope to format the OSS market, Linnux. It is new, the first kernel written in 1991, and yet a throwback to the ‘70s when open source software was freely traded and modified (Laver). When someone creates a “pretty” graphical interface to make it simple and appealing enough for the average person to use. While it is a serious threat, and Bill Gated privately admits that it is, it is not close enough yet to push the market forward. But at least there is one OSS out there that can make Microsoft remember that they do not have the only ones....
