I think the company should make a point to communicate it’s beliefs of women and minority workers within the entire business, including upper positions in the corporation. While looking at the companies list of officers within the corporation, I found only about four or five women to about thirty men. And only about three of the names looked like they may be the names of minorities (for example, d'Amore and Nooyi). I think the company should focus on getting qualified women and minorities into the head management positions. With a more diverse management, the company would be able to get a feel for what all people, no matter what gender or race, want and there for come out with new products. As for Internet strategies, PepsiCo has a website set up with all information about the company possible for the public to view. The website is easy to use and can answer any possible question you could have about the company. There is even a section to request information if you can’t find what you are looking for in the site. Beyond their website, PepsiCo also made an alliance with Yahoo!, “PepsiStuff.com”. This website allowed consumers to get free products ranging from discounts to merchandise by getting points from drinking Pepsi and Mountain Dew. This alliance was one of the largest online-off-line promotions ever. I think that PepsiCo has the internet covered fairly well. It is very easy for consumers to find their sites and PepsiStuff.com was an extra bonus for the consumers to get something back from the company. I also think that with the promotions that Pepsi has incorporate their website well.
