The most recent project I have read about was the Titanic Holography project. It is to produce a three dimensional laser holograms of the wreck of the Titanic. It will use three dimensional laser holograms from archival film footage; utilizing high-powered visible semiconductor lasers. You will see the same images, but three-dimensional.
