s primary source of customer research comes from the survey that will be distributed at a work place, outside travel agencies and the mall. Also the comment cards that will be inserted on the “thank-you” cards that the guests will receive upon leaving the inn. This information will let us know the needs of our customers, their interest to stay at inn such as Dreamscapes, and if there is a need for a Bed & Breakfast in the area. The comment cards will show where we can improve and how we can make our guests stay more enjoyable. The questions that would be in the survey would include:What type of service would you expect a Bed & Breakfast to have?Have you ever been to New Brunswick? More specifically St. Andrews? If so, when and what did you like about it? And where did you stay while visiting?Would you be interested to go there again?Have you ever thought of staying at a Bed & Breakfast when visiting there?How much would you be willing to spend on a stay at a Bed & Breakfast?Would you be interested in staying at the Dreamscapes Inn?The answers to these questions would give us an insight on what the customers expect to find when staying at a Bed & Breakfast and what would make them want to stay at a Bed & Breakfast. Also, it gives us an insight where they stayed when visiting New Brunswick and who we would be competing against.Questions that were asked in the comment cards and that we constantly ask ourselves are: Who are our customers?What conclusions can we draw from the results of our comment cards?What do our customers like or dislike about our Inn?What do they think about Dreamscapes Inn? How about when compared to our competition?Overall, we determined that our customers are families, couples, and business travellers who need to get away.
