In Pennsylvania, teachers are held to strict certification standards, we are one of the few states today that requires our substitutes to have a four-year degree. 6. Is research-based, data-driven and contributes to measurable increases in student achievement. Research can be compiled in. Myself and another intern used a district-wide survey (included) and tallied results for the purpose of finding out the strengths and weaknesses of our districts are.7. Provides sufficient support and resources over time to enable individuals to master new skills. These resources are important to keep us growing with todays ever-changing needs in the workplace and beyond. 8. Contributes to building learning communities and continuous improvement. One of the elements that Wallenpaupack Area School District is working on is involving community leaders and industry more in the districts day-to-day operations.
