In an article called Taking a Different Path: A Mothers Reflections on Homeschooling, There is a parent expresses her opinion about homeschooling. He said, Though homeschooling is not something I ever imagined myself doing, the benefits to independent, self-directed, highly capable learners are difficult to refute (Staehle 1). This emphasizes the unexpected benefits of homeschooling on childrens personalities that encourage parents to follow its paths. Although some parents do not think about homeschooling, and others refuse it for some personal reasons, they will not deny its benefits if they try it. Another characteristic of homeschooling is that it keeps a safe life for children. They are not exposed to any danger, for their parents indoor and outdoor always supervise them. Homeschooling helps children avoid the negative aspects of school life by promoting a strong family bond (Isabel). They do not experience the harmful effects of peer pressure, because they are not afraid of being different, and are less affected by any influence. She is pretty immune to peer pressure. She is not afraid of sticking up for herself (Madrome). In an article called Better off at Home, a parent describes his opinion about safety. He said, Homeschooling protects children from condom distribution, multicultural mumbo jumbo, new age relaxation techniques, knife-wielding sophomores, etc. This shows the various kinds of dangers that a child may well meet outside home, and how homeschooling helps them avoid it. Parents appreciate the lifestyle flexibility of their homeschooled children. The idea of being not obliged to learn a particular material or follow a specific system makes homeschooling interesting for children. They can choose what they want to learn, and get it at any time.
