is very common. Working conditions differ for field to field, but the conditions generally include working in offices, labs, factories, and actual project sites. Nearly forty percent of all Civil Engineers can be found working various jobs within the government. Most work on large public works projects. All types of Civil Engineers usually are involved in long-term, very time- consuming, projects, and some have to work ten to fifteen hours a day to meet deadlines.Civil Engineering has been around for thousands of years; it is necessary for the advancement of the world. The future of Civil Engineering depends greatly on the condition of the economy. Some predictions state that Civil Engineers are expected to experience steady employment for the maintenance and repair of public works, such as highways and water systems. The government also plays a big part in the future of Civil Engineers. If the government decides to cut off some funds to help keep cities, towns, and communities updated, the number of Civil Engineers may decrease. Finally, the public plays a large role in the need for Civil Engineers. If the public becomes more concerned in the environment, more Civil Engineers will be need to establish new wastewater plants, recycling establishments, and toxic waste dump sites for industrial and residential waste products. Civil Engineers will always be in demand, they are the heart of many current establishments.Civil Engineering improves daily. New processes and methods are always being developed to make projects more accurate, easier, and more efficient. The amount of training, number of engineers, and the average salaries will begin increasing as these developments are accepted. Civil Engineering will be around as long as there are objects that need to be constructed or updated. Throughout the years, the demand may increase or decrease. No matter what the future supplies, Civil Engineers will be considered the heart...
