Babes girlfriend was the character foil. She set things to go and trusted Babe to do what was expected from him. Through out the story Babe was the victim; he ended up being the nerd.In the beginning of the story, Babe said, No way out, but the door is one, meaning that there was no other exit but the one he came through. As Babe developed through the story, his brother on the other hand was almost in the end. He had been working for the government Mafia, an organized group of men and woman who do the dirty work for the government. Babes brother was assigned to kill a man, bald, with no name. He was worth millions of dollars worth of diamonds. This mission was to kill him and take the diamonds, but something happened and they killed him first, but before he had been talking to Babe, he wrote him a letter to tell him how he had been. The man in black intercepted a letter, and it said all the things that his brother had done and how they were going to hill him asking for help. Babe never received the letter, but the man in black knew that Babe was involved some how, they didnt know how, so they headed to find out. Babes girlfriend was working for them, she was unsure of finding out what Babe knew. She somehow fell in love with him and was killed in a confrontation between Babe and the man in black. She told Babe all. How she was being paid for loving him and how she fell in love.
