An envision brought alive

cter was also portrayed well in the play I found him to not really like Laura or feel bad for her when he tells her he is engaged, but in the movie I found him to be more caring and sympathetic towards Laura and her feelings. The setting met to my expectation and was almost or exactly as the play portrayed it. The apartment was the way I pictured it to be, small with a couple of rooms a living room a dinner table and a fire escape. The lighting and the props also helped the setting come alive. The use of candles in the living room showed it was trying to be romantic, the drapes that separated the living room and the dinner table, and Amandas dress, showed how perfect she wanted things to be. What came alive to me the most in the video was Lauras glass menagerie, the pieces were beautiful and from the movie you could see how they sparkled and how delicate they were. I found myself feeling that Laura was extremely talented and these pieces that were her lifetime and devotion really meant something. Altogether my envisioning of this play was very similar to the movie, the movie met to my expectation greatly. The movie did and exceptional job at portraying each of the characters, the setting, and relationships between characters. An audience who would have read the play would probably find the movie as a chance for their own imagination to come alive, or to help them understand a character a little more, and also a chance for them to watch a remarkable movie....
