Live fully in the present moment, 8. Commit yourself to joy, 9. Never quit whenyou experience a setback or frustration, and 10. Dare to dream big dreams.In my last article that I found, it shows the downfalls of Goal Setting. There weresix main points that show where goal setting can go wrong. The first way goal setting cango wrong is the Outcome goals can be set instead of performance goals. Second, Goalscan be set unrealistically high. Third, Conversely goals can be set so low that you feel nochallenge of benefit in goals that have been achieved, and that setting goals is a waste oftime. Fourth, Goals can be so vague that they are useless: it is difficult to know whethervague goals have been achieved, If achievement cannot be measured, then your selfconfidence will not benefit from goal setting. Fifth, Goal setting can be unsystematic,sporadic, and disorganized. Sixth, Too many unprioritised goals may be set, leading to afeeling of overload. Another approach that hinders goal setting is called the “Quantum Leap”approach. In this approach, it tries to force the amount of activity in that particular goal,and this will occur in an abnormal amount of intensity to accomplish this goal, and mayoverload the person. It is advised to be very careful if you decide to use this type of goalsetting.Before conducting research on this paper, I knew about goal setting, but I neverknew how important they were while trying to be something successful. There are manyaspects of goal setting. It seems that all of my articles agree on the same basic points, andthey also add their own idea.
