not any longer. The only thing that has had any bearing on my current sense of literacy is what has just happened, and it will continue to change with things that happen further down the road. My quest to discover the source of my literacy led me to find out what I wanted in life and made me realize that I need to live for me and not someone else. I realized that I needed to be happy for me and not just others. I realized that I could do anything I want to do and not just what someone thinks I should do.I have to be my own person and do what I think is right. I feel that these events I have just described have affected my sense of literacy in countless ways. They have shown me my true calling which is to improve my Arabic skills and history skills and to combine them with Paleoanthropology, or the study of human origins. They have shown me that my literacy goes beyond reading certain books and writing certain papers, but extends to my life and my daily activities. My entire life I was told to go outside of my comfort zone and expand it. That is the one thing that I am going to listen to; everything else is just for me....
