HaikuCan't write poetryI bang my head on the wallEndless frustrationAnother HaikuHey, this is easyI could do this all day longMy new fav-o-riteHappened this EveningA young crippled deerSees me but isn't afraidI watch in wonderThe TripWe're going on a trip to the next dimensionSitting and waiting now for it to happenFive of us speak in anticipationForty-five minutes later we stand up and laughAt the ceiling, at each other, at nothingJason thinks he is shorter by halfWe run around the room and rediscover the worldTwo-year-olds in our twenties, happy and freeOur minds flying, the wings finally unfurledOne sees the colors, one feels everything, one dazedTwo play together like children loving lifeWe see clearly now, wiped away the hazeCalmer now, we talk of things silly and profoundWe enjoy each other and love each otherFive friends, togetherness the only soundStill gone now, but close enough to sleep if we tryConversation has died out, too tired to talkEach of us retreats into his own mindPage 2ShutesSongs of NothingSing a song of nothing,and you shall know no fear.Sing a song of meaning,and there'll be none to hear.Only when the light of dayhas darkened into night,and the mindless masses need another's mightwill the cries and pleas of oldand warnings of todayhave an ear to fall upon-but it will be too late.So sing your songs of nothingand worry not for me.Save your worry for yourselveswhen comes your time of need.The Sons and DaughtersThe sons and daughters of the movers and shakers the ones who changed amerika and became what they hated mostThe sons and daughters were taught to love amerika enough to hate it enough to change it by the ones who became America in all its corporate gloryThe sons and daughters were fed dreams of a just existance in a new amerika by the parents who went to work to bring them the latest toys the most expensive clothesThe sons and daughters are grown up now without...
