Rock N Roll

From jazz and boogie of the thirties moved popular music away from the light entertainment of the theater toward a more exiting and dance oriented style that made the swing era a golden age. Do to jazz moving into rhythm and blues black people were recognized for talents in music and dance. This loosened the tension for black people in North America. Soon hnafter, black people were recognized as voters and gained a higher standard in society. Now, there are a lot less racial problems because of theses men who spoke out and proved that they were just as equal people. Though some radio stations were not aloud to play colored music or release “race sound”. Some DJ’s played it any ways do too much demand by the young adults. “It was mostly enjoyed for the quick, upbeat, catchy tunes and a heavy continuous beat for dancing”....
