Seinfeld Popularity

the actor’s shoes. This is very appealing to the public and I believe this has a huge impact on the success of the show. I love it because I can picture myself in the same situation. I would much rather watch a show that I can identify with opposed to one about aliens landing on Earth or vampires threatening our existence. It also adds a lethal dose of humor, which is the leading cause of laughter. It has also been proven to be extremely addictive. People start to feel like they’re a part of the show, like they know the characters personally. We laugh with them, cry with the, grow with them, and seem to walk the same long miles in their shoes. Shows like these are almost infectious. Lucky for us, we know that laughter is the best medicine, however, it is also one of the most contagious things in the world. With each of the episodes it continues to grow into a long-term story. It gives regular viewers a sort of a “inside joke effect” that only habitual watchers get to experience. This adds to the shows popularity and enthusiastic nature. This is true with many sitcoms but I believe the level of intensity is slightly more extreme in Seinfeld. People just can’t resist Seinfeld’s catchy image and overpowering originality. In conclusion, I believe that Seinfeld’s success and popularity was due to its exceptional union of characters, and the fact that it concentrates on actual everyday events that the public can associate with. It has become an immortal classic and it was broadcasted for many many years a feat that most shows can’t say the same about. Re-runs are still on five nights a week and most people still regularly tune into it. The show’s ingenuous plots and charismatic actors made Seinfeld more than a temporary trend. We love Elaine, Jerry, George, and Kramer. Together they make an absolutely fabulous dish that we simply just cannot get enough of. Seinfeld has ...
