g to actually do is; I am going to take note cards with different types of disabilities and give one to each of the judges and ask them to perform what their note card says. My mentor is a counselor here at Harrison. Her name is Val. I got in contact with Val when I was pulled out of class to try and help another student in our school out with a problem. Although I haven't yet had the time to sit down with Val and discuss the topic at hand with her, knowing that she is there and available for me is a great thing. Next I plan on talking with parents to get their views on having their children in either a "regular" classroom or having their children in a room with "special" children. I am going to read a biography on someone's life who has a disability and then struggles they faced while in school. I plan on adding a more personal level to my research in the second part of my journey to find out information. ...
