homeless

ets in their lifetime. There is a lot of baggage that comes with living on the street, mentally and physically. Once out on the street, most believe there will never be happiness in their lives again. This affects the mental state of mind in a homeless person. Along with the notion of living outside the civilized world, homeless people have nothing to live for. This is when homeless people start to become mentally ill. When they have given up all hope, their mental state starts to alter. It alters as a consequence of being homeless. What society wants to believe is that these outcasts were already in a state of mental disarray before they were thrown out on the streets. It is easy to cover up the problem for the time being, but as time goes on it seems harder and harder to keep the problem from leaking out.I think that the government has to address the public with the homeless problem. There has to be a way to help clean the streets up and shelter these street dwellers. If the government will not let the homeless use public sanitation services, then they have to set up some kind of shelter for them. If the government does not it is basically committing neglect. If the homeless are not considered a part of the public, what are they considered? If they do not have an identity, they cease to exist. Is the government going to use magic and make them magically disappear? When will the problem of homelessness stop being ignored? What does one have to do to get some recognition on the problem? When will the problem be so out of control that society cannot ignore? Why is the government going to wait until there is an even bigger problem? These are all questions that will be addressed in the future if there is no action taken at the present time to help homelessness. It is ignorance in society and in the government that is delaying the assistance of such helpless people....
