The Pepsi Corporation and the Cadbury Schweppes Corporation both demonstrate a solid financial position in the economic market. By analyzing the overall financial ratios for the years of 1998 and 1999 the Pepsi Corporation reveals a higher sales number of $22,348.00 million in 1998 and of $20,637 million in 1999. While, the Cadbury Schweppes Corporation reveals sales figures of $6,813.90 million in 1998 and $6,950 in 1999. The Cadbury Schweppes Corporation conversely reveals higher risk analysis figuresin comparison to Pepsi Corporation. The times interest covered ratio for Cadbury Schweppes is 16.2 in 1998 and 25.44 in 1999, while for Pepsi Co. in 1998 their ratio was only a mere 5.7 and in 199 doubled to 10.09. Investment recommendations would be favoring The Pepsi Corporation due to their higher and moderate increase in sales figures.
