The Clinton Presidency Americas Darkest Hour
The Clinton Presidency Americas Darkest Hour William Jefferson Clinton’s eight-year term as president of the United States of America has been one of the most corrupt, and possibly the most damaging ever. There is evidence connecting him to hundreds of deaths, injuries, and explosions. He, along with his administration, has made a number of “Faustian bargains and policy blunders” (Timperlake) that have allowed a malicious, rancorous government to gain further power in Washington. He has acted dangerously and impulsively, and has befriended all of the wrong people, including Chinese arms dealers, spies, pimps, and gangsters, among others. He has also compromised U.S. safety on more than one occasion. He is a cold, racist, corrupt man who has proven many times over that he does not care about the people, only in using them and obtaining money. In the following pages, one will see facts proving all One could begin with the issue of genocide. In 1994, between half a million and a million members of the Tutsi tribe were slaughtered by Hutu tribal militias. Even though this massacre was widely covered by the news, the United States did nothing to help stop the killing. President Clinton offered an explanation to survivors in Kilagi for this. He said that he “did not fully appreciate the depth and the speed with which [the survivors] were being engulfed by this unimaginable terror.” (Kelly) This explanation was not quite true. The U.S. government watched the killings in Rwanda closely. Clinton was completely familiar with the genocide; he knew what was going on as hundreds of thousands were being murdered. And yet, he still did nothing to He is also quoted as saying that he only “did not act quickly enough to stop it after the killing began.” (Kelly) Actually, he personally denied urgent requests from the U.N. to send a small force of non-U.S. troops into Rwanda. Then on May 24, 1994, with the estimate number of the dead at 400,000 and rising, Clinton said, “We cannot solve every such outburst of civil strife or militant nationalism simply by sending in our forces.” (Kelly). One may ask, if he considers a million corpses a “civil strife”, does he really care about the world and the human race at all? Then, one may look at what happened with Mena, and the two teenage boys, Don Henry, 16, and his friend Kevin Ives, 17. In August of1987, while Bill Clinton was still governor of Arkansas, the two boys told their parents that they were going to go “deer spotting”. The next morning they were found on the railroad tracks close to Shobe Road near Alexander, Arkansas. They had been run over by a Union Pacific train. Arkansas State Medical Examiner Fahmy Malak ruled the deaths of the two boys “accidental,” and said that the two boys had smoked too much marijuana and had fallen asleep on the tracks. However, after a grand jury probe, a second autopsy declared it a double homicide, having found evidence of a knife wound and beatings. A forensic pathologist by the name of Joe Burton said that prior to being run over by the train, Don Henry had been stabbed in the back and Kevin Ives had been beaten, with what looked to be a rifle butt. So, one may ask, what made State Medical Examiner Malak come to such an outrageous cause of death? Bill Clinton said that his examiner was “stressed out and overworked.” (Satter). This then leads to the question of why Clinton would defend Malak, although his rulings of death had been “questioned in more than 20 different cases.” (Satter), including the case of Raymond Albright, who was obviously shot 5 times in the chest, and was found with no trace of gun powder on his hands, or any other evidence supporting a suicide, but yet Malak still ruled it a suicide. However, if one was to search in Malak’s past, they would find that he was a principal player in clearing Clinton’s mom, the deceased Virginia Kelly, of error in the negligent death of a young girl, Susie Deer, at Ouachita Memorial Hospital in 1981. Malak’s ruling helped Kelly escape scrutiny in the case of the teenage girl. In 1989, then Arkansas Department of Health Director Joycelyn Elders cleared Dr. Malak. Nine months later, Clinton calculated a $32,000 raise for Malak. Finally, in 1991, a month before Clinton pledged his intentions to run for president, Dr. Malak was promoted to a new job, making $70,000 a year as Health Department consultant to Dr. Elders, who reported directly to Clinton. All of this implies that Clinton was an accomplice in helping to conceal a double homicide. He has been quoted as saying that “he resents all of the implications of a connection”, (Lane) and in 1994 ordered for further investigation of the case to be shut down. However, a couple of weeks before he ordered it to be closed, the mother of one of the boys, Linda Ives, obtained evidence implicating that the two boys were murdered by law enforcement officials because they had stumbled upon a drug drop from an airplane, known as Mena, involving government agents, such as Saline County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Harmon. A woman by the name of Sharline Wilson testified against Harmon in August of 1999. She said that she “dropped then-prosecutor Dan Harmon off near the tracks [the night the two boys were murdered], and waited while he went to pick up a drug drop.” (Satter). About an hour later, when asked how Harmon looked when he came back, she said that “he had blood on his pants--as if he had wiped his hands on them.” (Satter). As of August 12, 1999, Harmon was not available for comment, because he was currently serving time in an Illinois prison on drug charges. There is also the quite famous “suicide” case of Vincent Foster, White House counsel and confidant of President Clinton. On Tuesday, July 20, 1993, around 1:00 p.m., he told Linda Tripp that he would be right back, and left the office. Around 6:00 that same day, he was found dead in Fort Marcy Park, with a gunshot wound in the back of his mouth. In August of 1997, Kenneth Starr shut the books on the case, even though there was a mountain of evidence that shows Foster didn’t die in that park, and that shows he didn’t commit suicide. The bullet was never found. There was no motive, and even the 27-piece “suicide note” that turned up weeks later was not really a suicide note at all. Foster’s body was covered with fibers, as if he had been rolled up in a piece of carpeting. There was no soil from the dusty footpath on his shoes. Investigators gave conflicting versions of what happened and of almost every aspect of the evidence, including whether or not the bullet produced an exit wound, whether the wound was located in the head or neck, and even whether Foster was found on the ground or in his car. Then there’s the “suicide” gun. Foster was found with a .38 revolver made by Colt Arms, built from parts taken from two other guns, and having two serial numbers. There are contradictions between a blue/black gun and a silver colored gun separately identified, “absence of Foster’s fingerprints and blood, DNA inconclusive results and a lack of matching gunpowder and bullet fragment evidence.” (Ruddy). If he had pressed the .38 against the back of his mouth and pulled the trigger, there should have been burns and gunpowder deposits around the wound, as well as broken teeth and blood on the gun barrel - but there was none. Investigator M. Clarke is quoted as saying, “Foster couldn’t have fired the weapon with the gunshot residue the way it was left on his hands.” (Foster). He also said that Foster held his hands with his palms facing the revolver’s cylinder--”consistent with his hands being in a defensive position.” (Foster) Clarke also characterized as “significant” the fact that the manufacturer of the bullets that were found in the gun has never used what is called “ball smokeless powder.” Clarke says, “Ball smokeless powder is what was found on Vince Foster’s body and clothing. We think that’s significant because it’s used for reloads. But professional hit men also use it......That would be consistent with there being no exit wound. They’d put a light powder charge on the gun so that it wouldn’t blow the back of his head off as it would, had it been stock ammunition.” (Foster). Another mysterious thing is this: There were four different people who searched Foster’s pockets while the body was in the park, but none of the four could find his car keys. And there were no keys in his Honda in the parking lot. However, the keys eventually turned up at the morgue where his body was taken. Actually, two sets of keys turned up. One may ask, how did four investigators miss not one, but two sets of keys? Two White House officials, who were both closely associated with the President, were alone with the body right before the keys were found. So, if Foster didn’t commit suicide, then one may ask, why was he murdered? Vince Foster, along with Jerry Parks, were two of the people involved with the huge Mena scandal. Together, they transported illegal cash to Little Rock, and was laundered into legitimate political spending. Of all of the bag men discovered so far, six are now dead, including both Foster and Parks, 36 have plead the Fifth Amendment, eleven have fled the country, and eleven more are living in foreign countries and refusing to cooperate. Also, Parks had thick files, with photographs, of Clinton while he was still governor of Arkansas, and his pattern of womanizing. Foster had called Parks demanding the files, but Parks refused. A week after Foster’s death, the Parks’ home was broken into - a sophisticated burglary in which phone lines and alarm systems were disabled. The files Then, there’s the case of Sgt. Shelly Kelly, a sergeant attendant, or stewardess, of a 737 that crashed over Croatia, the same plane that was carrying Ron Brown. Kelly was the only survivor on the plane, out of 35 people. Four hours and 20 minutes after the crash, the first Croatian Special Forces search party arrived on the scene, and find only Kelly alive. She found to have only “minor cuts and bruises.” (Ruddy). They called for a helicopter to evacuate her to the hospital, and when it arrived, she was able to walk over to the helicopter and climb aboard without any assistance from the medics. However, she died enroute to the hospital. A later autopsy revealed a neat, precise three-inch incision over her main femoral artery. It also showed that the incision came at least four hours after all of her other cuts and bruises. However, this is not even close to being the first death with the cause of it being a helicopter or airplane crash. One of the more famous cases would be that of the aforementioned Ron Brown, former Commerce Secretary. At the time of his death, he was scheduled to be deposed by Judicial Watch. He was also a target of an independent counsel’s investigation where an indictment was expected. Brown went to see Clinton and told him that he intended to enter a plea agreement with the federal prosecutor and testify against the Administration. Reportedly, Clinton responded with a curt “that’s nice” and walked out of the room. Judicial Watch then began representing several of the pathologists and a photographer of the Armed Forces Pathology Institute who examined Brown’s body and noticed a .45 caliber bullet hole in Brown’s head. Also, a news report was that the weather was “the worst storm in ten years” at the time of Brown’s plane crash, but actually visibility was 5 miles in light rain. There were also questions about the so-called “difficulty” with the landing beacons. Brown’s plane was relying on Croatian ground beacons for navigation, but apparently there were problems with them. In the minutes before the crash, however, five other planes landed at the same place without difficulty, and none experienced problems with the beacons. But additional questions about the beacons and the crash will remain unanswered because airport maintenance chief Niko Junic died from a gunshot wound just three days after the crash and before he could be interviewed by investigators. Within a day of his death, officials determined that the death was a suicide. Apparently the 46-year-old was “despondent over a failed romance.” (Jacobson), even though his closest friends didn’t know about this “failed romance” or any romance for that matter. Then, one may look at all the scandals with women President Clinton has been through, and has put America through. The most famous would probably be Monica Lewinsky, and there’s also Paula Jones, the alleged rape of Juanita Broaddarick, and the newest one is the young girl, Susan Coleman. At 7.5 months pregnant, she was found with a gunshot to the head, only a week after telling her friend, a reporter for the New York Times, that she had been having an affair with President Clinton. Now, some people may say that it doesn’t matter that he has affairs, a lot of people do. Honestly, though, one may say that those people need to ask themselves if they want an ordinary person, who is just like everyone else, running our country? It’s a well-known fact that the greater portion of American society isn’t exactly the most intelligent when it comes to government and politics. And, some may say, neither does President Clinton. How much more humiliation and embarrassment could America take? There’s also the case of Kathy Ferguson and the case of Ferguson’s fiancé, Bill Shelton. Ferguson’s ex-husband, Danny Ferguson, was a co-defendant in the Paula Jones case. Danny Ferguson was also a guard of Bill Clinton when he was still governor of Arkansas. In May of 1994, in Sherwood, Arkansas, Ferguson was found dead of a gunshot wound in the apartment of her boyfriend - who himself was to die shortly thereafter. Police ruled Ferguson’s death a suicide, as was Shelton’s, who was found a month later sprawled across her grave with a gunshot wound behind the right ear. However, the police seemed to have “accidentally” overlooked a few bits of critical information relating to the wounds. In the first autopsy report, there was an exit wound in the left temple area, however Ferguson’s right temple was pretty much blown away, when usually “exit and entry wounds are clean.” (Ruddy). Also, being that Ferguson was right-handed, one would think that she’d shoot through her right temple. However, the exit wound was found in the right temple, not the entry wound. Eventually, an entry wound was found directly behind her left ear about midway between the top and bottom of her ear. It was stuffed with cotton. Two of Kathy Ferguson’s friends, Sherry Butler and Sam Houston, along with Ferguson’s ex-husband, Danny Ferguson, were interviewed by Paula Jones investigators, Rick and Beverly Lambert. All 3 of them told the Lamberts’ the same story when asked whether Kathy Ferguson had ever been harassed by then-Governor Bill Clinton when Danny Ferguson worked for him. She told all three of them that she had been “blocked in the kitchen of [Clinton’s mansion],” (Ruddy) and that Clinton made unwelcome advances on her. She also said that Clinton had “shoved her against a counter and wouldn’t let her leave the kitchen.” (Ruddy). Fellow trooper of Ferguson’s, Larry Patterson, told the Lambert’s that he remembers Ferguson telling him that Clinton wanted to know about his and Kathy’s sex life. Clinton also said that his extracurricular activities never posed a problem because as governor he could do as he pleased. He is quoted as having said, “Larry, I’m the governor of the state of Arkansas. I work really hard and the laws that apply to everyone else shouldn’t apply to me.” (Ruddy). One could also look at his views on crime. He wanted to show he was “tough” on crime, so in the midst of his 1992 presidential campaign, he flew back to Arkansas to approve the execution of Ricky Ray Rector. Rector was so brain damaged that he had no sense of the difference between tomorrow and last year. He was accustomed to placing his dessert in a corner of his cell to be eaten just before he went to bed. After he had been led to his execution, guards found the dessert of his last meal set in the corner for “later.” He had no idea what being executed meant. But, as the facts show, Clinton wanted him dead during the primaries, to show how tough he was on crime. It was also Clinton, who signed an anticrime bill into law naming over 60 different offenses as worthy of the death The most recent scandal, one could argue, would be that of Johnny Huang and the Riadys, and of how Clinton compromised U.S. security, for illegal campaign money. In order to gain and hold onto power, the Clinton administration has acted recklessly, allowing the wrong people to gain access to our most important political and economic secrets. There is also evidence supporting that the “Clinton administration’s help to the Chinese military and the cover-ups of Chinese proliferation were motivated by equal parts corruption and classic appeasement.” (Timperlake, p. 3) There are a few “stumbling blocks” however. For instance, two crucial witnesses, Commerce Secretary Ron Brown and Assistant Commerce Secretary Charles Meissner, perished together in a plane crash. At least eighteen crucial witnesses have fled the country, and another 79 witnesses have taken the Fifth Amendment, deciding that what they know would tend to incriminate them. There has been a lot of document tampering, especially of John Huang’s, and as Timperlake would say, “The higher one gets in the political structure at the White House, the more its people suffer from memory loss.” (Timperlake, p.3). A lot of what has happened, or is still happening, between John Huang and President Clinton is quite confusing and even this writer doesn’t understand all of it. In short, though, this is what happened. Mochtar Riady and his family, including son James, are extremely rich, powerful Chinese people who live in Jakarta, Indonesia. James Riady met Bill Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas, and thus began a 20 year friendship. John Huang is James Riady’s right-hand man, and the man who does most of Riady’s business for him in America. When Clinton and Gore ran for President and Vice-President, the Riady’s donated over a million dollars in campaign money altogether, which did a lot to strengthen the ties between Clinton and Mochtar Riady. The CIA has confirmed that Mochtar Riady and his family have long been connected to Chinese Intelligence. This may not seem to be a problem to most people, but then Clinton gave Huang Top Secret clearance, giving him access to American Intelligence. Huang then passed along the information to the Riadys. This may not seem like a problem either, but one needs to take in consideration all of the power that China has, and everything they’ve stolen from other countries. From Iran they’ve taken nuclear weapons technology, biological and chemical weapons-making equipment and technology, and ballistic missile technology, just to name a few. From Libya they’ve gotten poison gas-making components and ballistic missile technology. And from Pakistan, they’ve taken equipment on how to make nuclear materials, and a complete ballistic missile factory. China is not a country anyone should be messing with. For instance a trade magazine called Wide Angle announced that “China’s reconnaissance satellites will know the exact location of U.S. aircraft carriers.... as well as Taiwanese destroyers and frigates. If the satellites are used to coordinate a saturated strike by long-range anti-ship missiles and submarines, neither the U.S. nor the Taiwan naval forces could defend themselves.” (Timperlake, p. 184). Now, one may ask themselves, why would our president give American Intelligence to a hostile power like China? The answer is simple: money. From the facts presented her, the conclusion that Clinton is a scrupulous, greedy, perverted, corrupt man is not a conclusion that is hard to draw. One could say that the man will stop at nothing to get what he wants, whether it be money, certain files, sex or drugs. And that he is more than willing to anyone who gets in his way, or in the case of Kathy Ferguson, anyone who rejects him. After reading this, one could only hope that others will realize how damaging Clinton’s term has been. Bibliography: Foster, M. (1995, September8). Vincent Foster. Daily Republican Newspaper.
