People had to find the news and the press is the number one way to find the news. It also gave people a chance to write a their opinions about local political powers. Instead of soap boxing it people could write articles that will help people Like Benjamin Franklin or more of a modern one, Ann Landers. With out the freedom of press these people would not be a able to help the readers of the newspaper make critical opinions on other peoples opinions.Ending this paper is very hard to do because there are many other reasons why the first Amendment is so good, but the most important reasons are stated in this paper.
