The ending of apartheid came when South African apprehension peaked. In conclusion, the coinciding events of external countries fighting white minority rule, the partial unification of the PAC and ANC in prison, and the eventual unification of those organizations outside of the prison, compiled on top of the South African people’s insecurity and anxiety reaching its pinnacle caused apartheid to end when it did. If these events did not happen in the same time frame, the same result may not have occurred.
