car on her return to Auburn.Harriet was a fighter for women's rights as well. With her home literally down the road, Tubman remained in contact with her friends, William and Frances Seward. In 1908, She built a wooden structure that served as a home for the old and indigent. Here, she worked, and was cared for herself, before her death. Harriet died in 1913. Harriet Tubman was buried in Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn, with Military Honors. In my opinion, I think that Harriet Tubman truly was a hero. She was able to rescue so many people from slavery, Serve in the war, and still even in old age build a home for old and indigent. Harriet Tubman is a great role model. I'm glad i did my report on her....
