He then went on to describe the different age groups and possibilities for the future the youth had. They could enter the program at the age of six, then at ten they graduated into the Jungvolk. At fifteen years of age they were officially Hitler Youth. As a Jungvolk, the boys had to swear an oath, basically saying that they were willing to give up their lives for Germany and Hitler.
