For seven years this would be his life until he learnedthat God dominated the kingdoms of man. The stump and roots of the tree were left inthe ground to show that if he learned God should rule his life again King Nebuchadnezzarwould receive his kingdom back. King Nebuchadnezzar didn't listen to Daniel and continued in his evil ways. Intwelve months a voice from heaven spoke to him and told him that he would no longer beruler of his kingdom and that he would be forced out of the palace to live with the animals.The prophecy was fulfilled. Nebuchadnezzar was chased from his palace by his peopleand ate grass like the cows. After seven years Nebuchadnezzars sanity returned and he praised God andworshipped Him. God restored his kingdom and reestablished Nebuchadnezzar withgreater honor than before. This was the latter years of Nebuchadnezzar's life.
