Saving Private Ryan

beach 1944(D-day). Saving Private Ryan was directed by, the greatest, Steven Spielberg. This was one of his greatest movies ever, up with Shindler’s List. He seems to feel strong about World War II. All his war related movies seem to be outstanding, topping others by a handful. With this movie he wanted to show the viewers how World War II was damaging to the whole world. I also think he was tying to show the loyalty and the strong brotherhood between soldiers, no matter the different religion or ethnic background. I strongly recommend this movie for all. It describes World War 2 and the hardships extremely well.AuthorIn the movie, the director wanted to show the realism of the World War II. He found a way to make the story interesting to most viewers, yet provide true effects of the war on American History. With all of the special examples of realism, the author brings your emotions into the story. Spielberg did a good job of bringing out the deepest emotions, some were anger, sadness, and understand of the situation.I thought the movie was very good and was well directed. Like I mentioned in the report, the movie was brought to life right in front of you. You felt like you were there, in the story running with the soldiers. World War II was an on going battle that nobody won. Even though there were no declared winners, World War II was very important in American History, and has changed the way the nation is now....
