ample, if the stockmarket didn’t crash, then the capitalistic economy of America wouldn’t havetaken such a blow, though that is one thing that was hard to avoid since it wasso unpredictable. Another way to avoid it would have been to avoid capitalism alltogether and become a country run different economically, such as by means ofcommunism, but that is way out of the question. Also, things are harder to avoidif they can’t be totally controlled. Well, I don’t think there is really any effects of the outcome still evidenttoday. I mean like our economy hasn’t fallen that harshly since then and thestock markets are still going on, but at times it seems that history my repeat itselfbecause of the fluctuation in the stock market and how it can never be predicted.There isn’t really a lot to know, because history is always showing up again inthe future so there is probably still traces of that event and era still shown today.Well, I know for a fact that a little while before the time period the storyoccurred in, there was a depression in Europe, mainly in Germany, that had thesame effect on them as it did to us. The irony of it all was that the depression inEurope was caused by a war, World War 1, and in the United States, thedepression was mended by a war, World War 2. This event affected minority groups because unlike the averageAmerican, they were not of American blood so trying to fit in with society was alot harder in these hard times then it already was for them. The hardest was forthe people that came from different countries to come seek fortune, life andliberty in America. They couldn’t find it in theirs and when they got here at thetime, they saw it was no better than what it was like back home so they werestuck there.
