Marley was bur popularized Marijuana use.Bob Marley was consider a commentator toward the worlds outside of Jamaica, but it him awhile to reach the outside world. At the age of 14 in December of 1962 he dropped of school and become a welder, while concentrating on his music (Time Line 1). With in a couple of years he formed The Wailer's. The group consisted of his Trenchtown pals "Tosh and Bunny Livingston; they are joined by Junior Braithwaite and female vocalists Beverly Kelso and Cherry Green. Also vocalist Joe Higgs and drummer Alvin 'Secco' Patterson (Time Line 1)." The Wailer's fist single "Simmer Down" reached Number 1 in the Jamaican Radio Chart. In February of 1966 Marley married Rita Anderson. In the year of 1970 the Wailer's released their first album called "Soul Rebel." Three years after releasing there first album they began to become notices by outside of Jamaica. On April of 1973 the Wailer's toward the UK and also appeared at the Max's Kanas City Club in New York (Time Line 2).
