eep children out of that room.The historical society has put together a museum in the buildings second floor and it has lot of articles of historic importance preserved. Few of them are the 1901 Presidential inauguration souvenir program and inaugural ball dance card, a side saddle used at that time, a black silk bonnet, a king James version bible, a pair of glasses used by Mitte, and currency like 50 cents and 25 cents in paper. The one item that caught my attention was the Letter to Mrs. James S Bulloch (Martha), from her daughter in law, Lucy Sorrell Elliot, marrying Mrs. Bulloch's son, Daniel Suart Eilliot. The letter was dated June 17th 1861. In this letter Lucy writes to Martha about all the health problems her son was going through and asks for advice. The best thing in the letter is the postage used during that time period. Various maps of Georgia during different time periods are also displayed in here. Yoke and Cuff worn by Mrs. Jehu Bartow Wing to greet President Theodore Roosevelt is also displays in here.The Wing room is adjacent to museum and this room display the pictures of Virginia Wing Power and her personal accessories like her silver hairbrush to her Bachelors of Arts certificate which she received from Agnes Scott College. Lots of pictures of Virginia from her childhood, her first birthday, her graduation are all displayed in here. Hand painted Limoges is displayed here which were worn during the wedding of Suddath Wing and Jehu Bartow Wing in 1904. Down in the basement is the kitchen and storage room with a room for dining next to it. In the dining room is a tree trunk that is dated from 1793﷓1995. The dining room has a table to seat eight people. The kitchen floor is made of bricks and stone unlike the other rooms that has wooden flooring. The whole house is well ventilated.
