Who murdered King Tut

my, General Hemheb. Why would Hemheb have had him killed? What interest did Hemheb have in all this?It was learned many years after the discovery of King Tut’s tomb that Ankhesenamun had, in fact, married Aye. But why is there no record of that wedding in Aye’s tomb? AND WHAT HAPPENED TO ANKHESENAMUN? We haven’t located a tomb, nor is she referred to in any of the wall paintings of Aye’s tomb. It appears as though there was less than 3 years between the death of King Tut and Ankhesenamun.It is also interesting that in one of the first shrines Aye had built after taking over as King of Upper and Lower Egypt, he begins with “You should never Question the moves of the high priest”. Why would we have reason to question a man of integrity?And then there is Hemheb, the general. What interest would he have in killing the Hetite prince? With a letter from the queen in hand, he certainly wasn’t to be taken as a threat. It is known, and should be noted now, that Hemheb succeeded Aye as Pharaoh.Wow. A lot of motives, now. How about this scenario:King Tut, at the age of 17, began taking an interest in the operations of his nation. After All, he was the Pharaoh. He became more engrosed in Politics. He began taking on the roll of the King of Upper and Lower Egypt. Thus, he became a threat to the existence of Aye as senior advisor.Aye, therefore, began to feel threatened. Over the next 2 years, the threat became increasingly bothersome, since Aye had began one of the greatest rebuildings in Egyptian history. The country was on-track once again.However, as King Tut medeled more and more, Aye’s plan for a perfect nation, a Utopia, as the Egyptians sought, began to slip apart. So if Tut was dead, Aye could continue his plans.Now, to kill a Pharaoh was unthinkable. So, pictures in Tut’s tomb include Aye, who did not want to be suspected.
