World War I3

have a war again. This was a factor in the isolationist policy of the US. In fact, the Kellogg Briand Pact outlawed all wars except to protect democracy. The psychological impacts were so great because the war was so bloody. Millions of soldiers were killed and not much land was exchanged. During the Battle of the Somme, 125 miles were won, but 1.1 million people were killed in the process. WWI was a wake up call to the horrors of war. WWI was such a pivotal event in history. It changed the world forever. There were many impacts and consequences socially, economically, politically and psychologically. It made people never want another war. It helped women gain equal rights. It humiliated Germany and led to WWII and it also gave rise to many new countries. WWI definitely was a pivotal point in history....
