Throughout the years, more and more complex building, painting and vases were found in the area of Crete, this later known as the Minoan. In 1450 BC, the Minoan Empire was declining and this followed by the rise of Mycenaeans. In the period of 1200BC, the Aegean civilization was finally deteriorated and collapsed because of the invasion of the Dorians (Aegean Civilization ).B. Aegean artMost of the Aegean art were proclaimed as natural. A large amount of this style was originated in Minoan Crete. These kinds of idea then spread to other Aegean islands an the Greek mainland. The Minoan painting is found in two forms, the first one is frescoes on palace walls and the second one is Minoan pottery. Moreover, the Minoans are very good at sculpting stone vessels with enhanced relief. The Minoans also developed metal work. Most of the metal works were found in the graves and cemeteries. These included gold and silver vases and bronze weapons, which were made by the Minoan artists (Aegean Civilization). III. Information of Cycladic civilizationA. EnvironmentCycladic culture first flourished in the Cyclades, a small island group in the Aegean Sea. The sea generally served as a communication channel and also is a tool to provide food. Because of its location, the early Cycladic settlements were set in a defensive position away from the invasion of sea rover. They built thick walls and towers for defend (Jane 305) . B. EconomyThe economy of the Cycladic people was based on farming, herding and fishing. Most of the population were sailors and they developed maritime trade, in many times, these sailors exported their wares to Asia Minor, Europe and North Africa.
