global questions 1. What is the meaning or the slogan in the beginning of the speech? The meaning of the slogan in the beginning of the speech is that communists can not do what the Germans can. Really, Russians can't do what the Germans do. The Germans are very proud people, who have said in the slogan to watch them, and study the art of management and the technique of the Germans. 2. How does Stalin define "the jungle law of capitalism?" Stalin defined the jungle law of capitalism as, "You are backward, you are weak-therefore you are wrong; hence you can be beaten and enslaved. You are mighty-therefore you are right; hence we must be wary of you." 3. How does Stalin attempt to motivate the industrial managers in this speech? Stalin explains that they are 50-100 years behind the advanced countries, and that we are going to make good of it or we our going to go under.
