As written, this bill would have eliminated the requirement that adult adoptees receive written permission from their adoptive parents before they can search for their biological parents. It was not an open records bill. There has never been an open records bill presented before the house. That is ridiculous. There will never be Open Records if we dont fight for them. This issue is very close to my heart, and I will fight for Open Records!...
