re are not enough children to go around. Think of all the babies that could have good homes but are instead being sucked from their mothers wombs and are not having a chance to live at all. Abortion can also have horrible effects on the would be mother. Women who have abortions often suffer from deep depression. They become overwhelmed by feelings they never thought they never would have, and dont know what to do. After having an abortion, women think that they have solved a problem when often they have just started a whole new one. They may begin to think that there is something wrong with them and begin to doubt themselves in situations where they would normally be sure of themselves. This depression can last for weeks or even months. Most women dont realize it could happen to them until after they already have an abortion because they are too busy trying to deal with their immediate problem of pregnancy. It seems that the solution to the controversy over abortion is to make it illegal except for under certain circumstances. A woman who is raped or is the victim of incest shouldnt have to be reminded every day of the awful experience she has already gone through. The option should also at least be there for those women whos lives may be at risk if she has the baby she is carrying. When a baby is conceived, its for a reason. When two people create a fetus, it is still a living, breathing organism. That fetus has a right to a good life, love, and happiness. Abortion cannot continue to be a solution to carelessness. Most women who have abortions choose to have sex and they should deal with the consequences without taking the life of an innocent baby....
