alcohol caused impairment than men at equivalent amounts. Women have their own unique set of alcohol related problems. A womans drinking habits are determined largely from my standpoint by her marital status and her life role. Married women just small similar problems that causes the venge. Women with different roles (mother, career, and female students) are less likely to drink heavily. The alcohol problem among us women today has resulted in generally having shorter drinking histories than men; but the problems may be more severe than mens. Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.Luke 21:28When drinking begins to interfere with any aspect of a persons life, social, emotional, professional, or physical emotion its considered alcohol abuse. When drinking becomes addictive, either psychologically or physically, its considered alcoholism. Alcohol abuse, if left untreated, can progress into alcoholism. The alcoholic cant control how much alcohol is consumed or how often, knowing that this is what shorten ones life span. As I noted before different people respond to alcohol different ways, but it has taken place. Anyone can develop alcoholism, there is no single characteristic shared by everyone who abuses alcohol. People often say he or she is to young to be a drinker; an alcoholic can be any age, profession, or social class. Alcohol acts as a depressant on the central nervous system, it decreases ones judgement, control over impulses, and coordination. This makes drinkers more likely to cause problems, to be involved in arguments, and auto accidents. Alcohol has caused over half of all traffic deaths and one third of traffic injuries, suicides, and crimes.
