Old Testament lays the foundation for the coming of the Messiah Savior anticipating Him as Prophet, Priest, and King and as the suffering Savior who must die for mans sin before He reigns .The New Testament consists of Gospels; that tell the story of the coming of the long-anticipated Savior and His person and work, Acts; through the work of the Holy Spirit, Acts proclaims the message of the Savior who has come, Epistles; that develop the full significance of the person and work of Christ and how this should impact the walk of the Christian as Christs ambassador in the world and lastly, Revelation; which anticipates the end/time events and the return of the Lord, His end time reign, and the eternal state.THREE BASIC STEPS TO BIBLE READING To CONCLUSION: Having absolute interest in reading the Bible can make one enjoy the experience. Understanding as many of the Bible the key terms, verses, themes or purposes of each of the books along with a brief description of the content can promote meaningful reading of the Bible. The rewards of reading and applying the Bible to our everyday are astonishing. With proper understanding of the Scriptures we then can development our own understanding of God, truth, and the Christian faith and defend, explain, and also apply Biblical truth in a non-Christian context.
