Babe Ruth
Babe Ruth Babe Ruth was born in 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland. His experiences as a child was not good he broke the law and stole things. He had some childhood friends how broke the law to. His dad put him in a Industrial school at age 7. The kids at the school were poor or bad. At the school he was starting to get friends. he had a little education. For fun he played baseball with the other students. His whole career started when a teacher put a ball and bat in his hand. When he started to play he was the best pitcher in the school. His team was the best team in Baltimore. At age 19 the coach of the Baltimore Orioles came to ask him if he wanted to pitch for the Orioles. He was very surprised, and his answer was yes. The coach said his payment was 500 dollars. His first game he pitched and didn’t do well. So the coach put him in Minor League. He did very well there for the audience. Then the coach of the Oakland A’s brought him up from the minors to play for them. On there team he hit his first base hit in the major leagues. Then he got traded to the Boston red Sox. Where he hit his first home run in the major leagues. Then a few years later he got traded to the New York Yankees, and also got married to his wife Helen Ruth, and later had a baby named Dorthy Ruth. The Yankees decided to move him from pitcher to first base because he was a better hitter than he was a pitcher. His home run record was amazing with 714 home runs in his career. He died at age 53 in Bibliography:
