Elevator Problem

moving the elevators and installing bungee cords would cause great delays, defeating the whole purpose of our fix. Third, the fix would be permanent, but it would cause other problems and issues. This is definitely not a choice.A second solution is to remodel the current elevators and replace parts. This is being done now, but maybe a more extensive remodeling could work. The cost would be limited, because we would be only replacing parts. The remodeling could be done at off-peak times and decrease the amount of delay. The fix wouldn’t be permanent, though, because the new parts would break quickly. My third solution is to replace the current elevators with new ones. The cost might be high, but it would eliminate the need for maintenance men repairing an elevator 4 times a week. The elevators could be installed in the summer to decrease delays, and the fix should be permanent, or as permanent as possible. New elevators would provide people with a reliable form of transportation down Richardson Towers, which would be free of unnecessary delays! The elevator situation is definitely a problem in Richardson Towers, and many of the residents here believe the problem needs to be remedied, soon. If we choose to replace the elevators, which I feel is the best solution, then we could do it during Christmas break when no one is allowed into the dorm. They could be replaced by the time student return in January, and the problem would be fixed!...
