s. The most prominent feature on the counter is the cash register, and the credit card machine. Behind the counter a wall rack displays bike speedometers, lights, and other expensive gadgets. The same rack that is installed behind the counter follows through around the entire main room of the store. The racks outside of the counter hold the larger and therefore the harder to steal components, clothes, helmets, bicycle racks and other accessories. Excess inventory is piled up in boxes under the display models. In the corner of the store is the bicycle shoe display, the shoes are displayed elegantly on plexi-glass shelves while a large array of sizes is neatly lined up underneath. There are about eight different shoe models on display, some sleek road racing models and also the rugged mountain biking models. Just to the right of the shoe display is the front shock display. The suspension forks are suspended mid height along the wall. Immediately to the right of the door lies a second room where the bicycles are serviced. In this room the walls are lined with specific tools. In the center stands a bicycle repair stand and two unfinished bicycles hang mid repair. Two employees rush about the room, reaching for the tools and skillfully utilizing them to repair the bicycles. All around the repair room, hand bicycle wheels, rims, and tires. The floor is lined with broken components flat tires, and tons of grease stains. The old wooden floor does not fail to hide the abuse its been put through, from the years of hard work.One of the immediate feeling one gets from entering the premises is that of a small friendly business. The employees in the store immediately ask to help you out with a sincere interest, and maintain a friendly and very personal relationship throughout your visit. The employees know you by your name in just a few visits, and offer you special favors once you have gained their trust and vice versa. The employees are generally v...
