Hemingway has an unique style when writing. He is a sensitive and dedicated artist. His writings are mostly simple. Most of his characters was assumed as "real" people. His stories directly correspond with his personal life.Hemingway was given many awards. When Ernest was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, the Swedish Academy commented on the central themes of his work ("Ernest(Miller)Hemingway" par1). in 1953 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize, for "The Old Man and the Sea".
