ems are enormous and appear to be expanding. Human Resource Planning is the process by which managers ensure they have the right number of people, in the right places,and the right times. Who are capable of effectively and efficiently completing those tasks that will help the organization achieve its overall objective. In other word, human resource planning translates the organizations objectives into terms of the workers needed to meet those objectives Human resource planning can be condensed into three steps: (1) assessing current human resources, (2) assessing future human resources needs, (3) developing a program meet future human resource needs (All Business.Com) Managers begin HR planning by reviewing the organizations current human resource status. This review is typically done by generation a human resource inventory. The availability of sophisticated computer information systems, its not difficult for most organizations to generate a human resource inventory report. The input for this report is derived from forms completed by employees. Such reports might include name, education training, prior employment, languages spoken,special capabilities, and specialized skills of each employee in the organization. This inventory lets manager assess what talents and skills are currently available. A Job analysis provides a summary of a jobs duties and responsibilities, its relationship to other jobs, the knowledge and skills required and working conditions under which it is performed. The job analysis is conducted after the job has been designed, the worker has been trained, and the job is being performed. Job analysis is performed on three occasions. First, it is done when the organization is found and a job analysis program is initiated for the first time.
