Delphi needs a new approach for using job instructions. We no longer have a two week training period and the job instructions are only utilized or updated when its time to be QS9000 certified. You have to be QS9000 certified in order do do business with other companies. It states, all of their products meet a certain standard. It ensures quality parts and quality production. Delphi needs to update the job instruction on a monthly bases and properly follow the procedures that come along with them. If you have one operator who does a job one way, then someone one on another shift does it another, that can cause a problem. The partsassembke in the same way all the same way and may not meet certain specification. when this happens the scrap count(parts that are not any good) goes up. The company looses money because of lost materials, overtime pay,and sometimes premium shipping (when you have to pay higher rates to have your product ship out on time). The importance a organization utilizing the benefits that come along with a job analysis are great. It keeps the job running smoothly and keeps uniformity on the job.Developing an effective compensation system is an important part of human resource management process. The purpose of designing an effective appropriate compensation system is to attract an retain competent and talented individuals who can help the organization accomplish it mission and goals.
